Graduated with top marks and honors from the “G. B. Martini” Conservatory in Bologna under the guidance of Antonello Farulli, he continued his studies with Yuval Gotlibovich at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana, where he subsequently obtained a Master of Arts in Music Performance in 2015, graduating with top marks.

Throughout his orchestral career, he has collaborated with leading conductors on the international scene, including Riccardo Muti, Fabio Luisi, Riccardo Chailly, Gianandrea Noseda, Georges Prêtre, Charles Dutoit, and Mikko Franck. He has worked with numerous professional Italian orchestras, such as the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the Filarmonica della Scala, and the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI. At the European level, he has collaborated with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, the NDR Radiophilharmonie Hannover, the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, and the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana.

In 2016, he joined the Philharmonisches Orchester der Hansestadt Lübeck, and in 2019 he won the competition for the position of Principal Viola at the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla, a role he still holds today. Over the years, he has also collaborated as Guest Principal Viola with the Bilbao Orkestra Sinfonikoa, the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria, the Orquesta Sinfónica de RTVE, the Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid at Teatro Real, the Teatro Comunale di Bologna, the Filarmonica Toscanini, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, with which he performed at the prestigious BBC Proms 2018 in London.

In 2024, he won the competition for a tutti viola position with the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI, collaborating with the orchestra during the 2025 season before choosing to return to Seville to resume his role as Principal Viola with the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla.

Alongside his orchestral activity, he is actively engaged in teaching, regularly collaborating with the Festival Internacional de Música “Ciudad Monumental de Cáceres” in Spain, where he is invited to give training activities particularly focused on preparing students for competitions and orchestral auditions.

He has also developed a strong interest in contemporary music, performing 20th- and 21st-century repertoire with Ensemble Resonanz in Hamburg and the Lucerne Festival Alumni Ensemble, upon invitation by composer and conductor Matthias Pintscher, collaborating on an autobiographical project at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg.
